Skye Terriers boast a stunning double coat requiring regular maintenance. Don’t let the coat fool you, though. It’s much easier to care for than it looks! A bath and brush every 10-14 days will keep their coats healthy, strong, and free of painful matting. Males stand 10 inches tall and weigh 35-38 pounds, while females are 9.5 inches and 30-32 pounds, with a sturdy, low-slung build. They enjoy moderate exercise and are always up for adventure, whether it’s a game of ball in the yard or hiking rough terrain, they will be by your side. They are also happy to spend an occasional lazy day on the couch, cuddled up with their people. Their versatile nature means they can thrive in many environments. Whether it be apartment living, downtown city blocks, or open farm land, they are happiest wherever they are, as long as they are with their owners!
